BJP Mocks Priyanka Gandhi's Claim of 750 Crore Students Affected by Paper Leaks

In her remarks, she claimed that approximately '750 crore students' had been impacted by incidents of paper leaks. This assertion quickly drew ire from BJP officials, who labeled her statement as not only misleading but also questioned the validity of the staggering figure she presented. The BJP's response highlights the party's strategy to challenge the opposition's credibility, particularly in the lead-up to the upcoming elections.

During the debate, Priyanka Gandhi asserted that there had been a total of 152 paper leaks over the past twelve years, claiming that these incidents had affected an astonishing number of students. She further alleged that no individuals involved in these paper leak schemes had faced legal consequences. In reaction to her statement, BJP National Spokesperson Sanju Verma took to social media platform X to ridicule the Congress leader's claim, emphasizing the implausibility of her figure. Verma pointed out that India's population is estimated to be around 145 to 147 crore, leading her to question how 750 crore students could possibly exist. Her post humorously referred to Priyanka as 'Pappu’s version 2.0,' a nod to the long-standing jibe aimed at her brother, Rahul Gandhi.
