Indo-MIM Ltd, a prominent manufacturer specializing in precision engineering components, made a remarkable entrance into the stock market on Thursday. The company’s shares were listed at approximately Rs 711 each on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), marking an impressive premium of 46.6% over the initial issue price of Rs 485. Meanwhile, on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), shares were trading at around Rs 709 by 10:05 AM, showcasing strong investor interest and confidence in the company’s future prospects.
Shivani Nyati, who leads the wealth management division at Swastika Investmart Ltd, provided insights into the market's positive reception of Indo-MIM. She emphasized that the robust market expectations are rooted in the company’s solid fundamentals rather than mere speculation. As the world’s largest manufacturer in the Metal Injection Molding (MIM) sector, Indo-MIM has maintained its leadership position for six consecutive years. The company reported a significant revenue growth of 28% alongside a 26% increase in profit after tax for the fiscal year 2026. Furthermore, it boasts a healthy return on net worth (RoNW) of 21.3%. The proceeds from the listing, amounting to Rs 400 crore, are earmarked for debt repayment, which will enhance the company’s financial stability without diluting shareholder value. Although the price-to-earnings ratio stands at 45x, which may not be considered cheap, Nyati believes that the company’s competitive advantages—such as its technology, scale, and diversified market presence—justify a long-term investment strategy rather than a quick flip.
