The bill empowers the US president to impose tariffs of up to 100 percent on the top five importers of Russian energy and military goods, as well as on nations that assist Russia in evading sanctions. The legislation also includes a staggering 500 percent tariff on all imports from Russia into the United States, further complicating the trade landscape.
