RSS Chief Bhagwat Highlights Changing Dynamics of Youth Engagement

In a recent address in Nagpur, Mohan Bhagwat, the chief of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), emphasized the evolving mindset of India's youth, marking a significant shift from past generations. He articulated that the traditional era characterized by blind obedience has come to an end, and today's young people are increasingly inquisitive, seeking understanding and reasoning behind the norms and values that shape their lives. Bhagwat stressed the importance of providing this generation with affection, quality time, and honest dialogue. He expressed concern over the diminishing communication within families, noting that meaningful conversations have become scarce in contemporary society.

During his remarks at the conclusion of the two-day 'Yuganukul Matrutva' (Contemporary Motherhood) event, organized by the Vishwamangalya Sabha at the Ambedkar International Centre, Bhagwat addressed the broader implications of this generational shift. He criticized the rising trend of extreme individualism, suggesting that it leads to a disconnection from communal values and shared responsibilities. According to Bhagwat, societies that have adopted such ideologies are now facing a reckoning, questioning the very principles they once embraced. He warned that there is a deliberate effort to create confusion within society, where some factions advocate for the dismantling of what is considered sacred or valuable.
