A tragic incident in Jehanabad district, Bihar, has ignited a wave of anger and disbelief across social media platforms after a 25-year-old woman was reportedly murdered by her younger brother-in-law. The shocking event, which took place in Imadpur village, stemmed from a dispute regarding the timing of a meal. The victim, identified as Anshu, was alone at home when the attack occurred, as other family members were occupied with agricultural work in the fields. This horrifying act has raised serious concerns about the treatment of women in society and the alarming prevalence of domestic violence.
According to police reports, the confrontation began when Kunal Kumar, the accused, returned home from work and demanded food. The argument escalated when he became enraged over the delay in serving the meal. In a fit of rage, he allegedly used a sharp weapon to fatally attack Anshu. Following the brutal act, he is said to have decapitated her and displayed her severed head from a banyan tree near their residence. The gruesome nature of the crime shocked the local community, who discovered the head hanging from the tree and promptly notified law enforcement. Authorities quickly arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and initiated a post-mortem examination. The accused was apprehended by local villagers and subsequently handed over to the police for further investigation.
