Authorities claim that she, along with her alleged accomplice, sedated Panwar before orchestrating a snakebite to make his death appear accidental. The motive, according to investigators, was to claim a substantial life insurance policy and eliminate obstacles in their relationship. Damini has also denied the charges against her, and investigations are ongoing. Despite the sensationalism surrounding their cases, both women are treated like any other inmates, adhering to the same prison schedule and responsibilities.
