Mumbai Crime Branch Probes Alleged MPSC Drug Inspector Exam Paper Leak

The Mumbai Crime Branch has summoned Rishikesh Gangarde (Patil), the individual who lodged a complaint regarding an alleged leak of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) Drug Inspector recruitment examination paper. Gangarde attended the questioning session accompanied by his legal representative as part of the ongoing investigation into the matter. Previously, he had raised concerns that the examination paper was compromised prior to the test and had formally communicated his allegations to the MPSC through an email. In response to his claims, the Mumbai Crime Branch launched an inquiry to gather evidence that would substantiate the assertions made by Gangarde.

During the investigation, authorities are scrutinizing the foundation of Gangarde's allegations, seeking clarity on the information and materials that prompted him to assert that the examination paper had been leaked. He has been requested to present any documentary or digital proof to support his claims. The controversy revolves around the Drug Inspector recruitment examination that took place in March of this year. According to the allegations voiced by Gangarde and other concerned individuals, the question paper began circulating on various WhatsApp groups two days prior to the examination date. It has been alleged that approximately 90 out of the 100 questions featured in the examination were shared in these groups on March 20, just ahead of the scheduled test. Such claims have raised significant concerns among candidates regarding the integrity of the recruitment process.
