On Thursday, he voiced his support for the government's Public Examinations (Amendment) Bill, 2026, stating that the emotions of the students are both justified and genuine. Instead, he called for a comprehensive institutional response to effectively tackle the problem. He asserted, "Paper leak is not cured by soundbites. It needed a real institutional fix, and today we gave it one," highlighting his endorsement of the proposed legislation aimed at reforming the examination process.
