Aamir Khan's Stepbrother Hyder Ali Khan Faces Hardship After Troubled Marriage

In a recent interview, actress Eva Grover opened up about her tumultuous marriage to Hyder Ali Khan, the half-brother of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan. Grover described her time with Hyder as one of the darkest periods in her life, alleging that he coerced her into compromising situations with directors and subjected her to physical abuse. She further revealed that Hyder is currently living in a chawl, struggling to meet even his basic needs, which adds a layer of complexity to their already fraught relationship.

Hyder Ali Khan is the son of Shahnaz, who was previously married and had a son before marrying Aamir Khan's father, Tahir Hussain. This makes Hyder Aamir's stepbrother, although they do not share a biological connection. After Tahir Hussain's first marriage to Zeenat Hussain, he later reconciled with her, creating a blended family dynamic. Before venturing into acting, Hyder worked in the aviation industry as a cabin crew member and made appearances in films like 'Dil Toh Deewana Hai' and 'Trump Card.' His career in the film industry, however, has not been as prominent as that of his famous stepbrother.

In her candid conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Eva recounted the pressures she faced during her marriage. She indicated that Hyder had urged her to engage in intimate relationships with others, stating, “He pressured me a lot.” Eva explained that during a challenging phase when she had stopped working, she had made significant sacrifices for Hyder's family, including liquidating her savings and selling her vehicles. Despite her efforts to support him, she found herself in a violent environment, with Hyder's mental health issues complicating their relationship. Eva expressed her sorrow over Hyder's current living conditions, noting that he is often without a stable home and relies on friends or temporary accommodations. She lamented that he is surrounded by negative influences, particularly those who encourage his alcohol consumption, and she hopes he finds peace in the future. Reflecting on her marriage, she acknowledged the violence she endured and her attempts to salvage their relationship, ultimately leading to her decision to leave for the safety of herself and her child.
