An employee shared a screenshot of an internal conversation that revealed management's refusal to allow remote work, despite numerous requests from staff members who were struggling to navigate the difficult travel conditions. The controversy began when employees at the firm sought permission to work from home due to the relentless rain, which had made commuting nearly impossible. In response to these requests, a manager stated, "Everyone, there are multiple requests for WFH due to rain reason in my inbox, you can come a little late today however, please join the office." This response was followed by a clarification from another manager, who indicated that while late arrivals due to traffic were acceptable, the expectation remained that employees should still report to the office.
