Apoorva Makhija, a well-known content creator, recently shared her emotional journey during the fallout from the controversial YouTube show 'India’s Got Latent.' In a heartfelt discussion with fellow influencer Sufi Motiwala on the reality series 'Lock Upp Season 2,' she revealed the dark thoughts that plagued her during that tumultuous time. Makhija expressed her gratitude towards Motiwala, who provided her with unwavering support when she felt overwhelmed and isolated. The candid conversation highlighted the importance of friendship and mental health, particularly in the face of public scrutiny.
During their interaction, Apoorva became visibly emotional as she recounted her struggles, stating, “I have really missed you. Don’t do this again; I am starting to cry. Every time someone asks me about you and says, ‘How were you friends with him? He’s so mean,’ I tell them… I would’ve killed myself if, at the time of the Latent fiasco, I hadn’t had Sufi.” Her heartfelt admission underscored the severity of her mental state during the controversy, which had led to significant trolling and backlash on social media. Sufi Motiwala, visibly concerned, urged her not to speak in such a manner, emphasizing the gravity of her words. Apoorva reiterated how critical his presence was during that challenging period, stating, “I wouldn’t have been able to get through that. You were the only person with me. I wasn’t dating anyone.
