Delhi Police Urges Ride-Sharing and Delivery Services to Limit Operations Amid Protests

In response to the ongoing protests led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) in central Delhi, the Delhi Traffic Police issued an advisory on Friday, July 24, urging app-based transportation and delivery services to limit their operations in areas affected by prohibitory orders. The advisory specifically targets cab aggregators, food delivery platforms, quick-commerce companies, and logistics operators, advising them to consider geo-fencing or temporarily suspending their services in zones where prohibitory orders under Section 163 are enforced.
