On July 24, he posted a picture showcasing a signed ODI jersey from Rohit Sharma, the former captain of India. This thoughtful gift came after the conclusion of a closely contested three-match ODI series between India and England, which wrapped up at Lord's on July 19. Despite the series ending in a disappointing 1-2 defeat for India, the camaraderie between the two players shone through in this gesture.

During the series, India faced England in three matches, with the visitors managing to secure victory in the first game held in Birmingham by a margin of six wickets. However, they encountered setbacks in the subsequent matches, losing by four wickets and 27 runs, respectively. In the series finale at Lord's, Rohit Sharma delivered an impressive performance, scoring 138 runs off 110 balls in a challenging chase of 388 runs. Although India fell short of victory, Rohit made history by becoming the first Indian player to score an ODI century at the iconic Home of Cricket. His remarkable innings also allowed him to equal the record for the highest individual score in an ODI at Lord's, previously held by the legendary Viv Richards.
