Raaquib Merchant and Ritesh Jaiswal Claim Men's Doubles Title at Pickleball Grand Prix

At the recent Pickleball Grand Prix held in Mumbai, Raaquib Merchant and Ritesh Jaiswal emerged victorious in the Men's Doubles 19+ Advanced category, defeating the duo of Sudarshan Dhakne and Varun Mittal with a decisive score of 11-5 in the final match. This victory marked a significant achievement for Merchant and Jaiswal, who showcased their exceptional skills throughout the tournament, remaining undefeated in all their matches. They began their campaign by dominating their pool, securing two convincing wins, first against Shyam Balsekar and Akhtar Qureshi with a staggering score of 11-0, and then overcoming Naman Sarawgi and Vihaan Pratap Ahuja with a score of 11-5. Their performance in the semifinals was equally impressive, as they dispatched Ish Kohli and Win Kohli with a score of 11-1, propelling them into the championship match with confidence.

On the other hand, Sudarshan Dhakne and Varun Mittal also entered the final with an impressive track record, having completed the group stage without suffering a single defeat. However, despite their strong performance leading up to the final, they were unable to overcome the formidable pairing of Merchant and Jaiswal.
