In a shocking series of violent incidents in Delhi, three individuals lost their lives within a span of just 48 hours, highlighting the alarming rise in crime in the capital. The first incident occurred early Thursday morning in the Keshavpuram area, where a woman was tragically shot by assailants who remain unidentified. The police were promptly alerted and dispatched teams along with an ambulance to the scene. However, the identity of the victim and the specific details surrounding the shooting are still being investigated. Authorities have initiated a thorough inquiry into the circumstances of this incident, and further updates are expected as the investigation unfolds.
Just two days earlier, on Tuesday, a 30-year-old man named Sunil was fatally stabbed during a confrontation with a group of men at Khimman Singh Park in the Ashok Vihar area of Delhi. The Delhi Police received a call reporting the stabbing at approximately 3:33 p.m., prompting officers to rush to the park. Sunil, who hailed from Mainpuri district in Uttar Pradesh, was at the park with Devki, the wife of Pawan, a resident of Jahangirpuri, when they were approached by three to four unidentified individuals. An argument ensued, leading to a violent altercation in which one of the attackers stabbed both Sunil and Devki before fleeing the scene. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Sunil succumbed to his injuries, while Devki is currently receiving medical treatment for her wounds. The police have launched a manhunt for the suspects, who are currently on the run, and multiple teams have been formed to track them down. A case has been filed under the applicable sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and the investigation is ongoing.
