Among those under investigation is Mumbai Police constable Pawan Sangle, who was suspended following the emergence of a video that allegedly captured him threatening student demonstrators. In the footage, Sangle is heard warning detained protesters that he could fabricate narcotics charges against them, claiming he would plant drugs in their belongings to ensure they faced severe legal repercussions.
