Honda ZR-V Hybrid Debuts at ₹47.99 Lakh with Impressive Features

Honda has officially introduced the ZR-V Hybrid in India, marking a significant milestone as it is priced at ₹47.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This launch positions the ZR-V as the priciest vehicle in Honda's lineup within the Indian market, featuring a robust hybrid powertrain that boasts an impressive fuel efficiency of 22.80 kmpl. The SUV is available in a single, fully equipped variant, which is powered by a 2.0-litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine. This engine is complemented by a dual-motor hybrid system that generates a commendable 181 bhp and delivers a torque of up to 315 Nm, all managed through an eCVT (electronic continuously variable transmission) gearbox. This entry into the premium SUV segment sees Honda competing directly with established models like the Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian, and Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line, although it does not offer multiple variants to cater to different price points.

The ZR-V Hybrid is not just about performance; it also comes packed with a comprehensive suite of features aimed at enhancing both comfort and safety for its occupants. The safety equipment is particularly noteworthy, as it includes eight airbags, which significantly bolster occupant protection in the event of a collision.
