Manipal Health Enterprises, a prominent player in India's healthcare sector, is gearing up for a significant initial public offering (IPO) set to commence on July 29, 2026. The company aims to raise as much as Rs 9,275 crore through this public offering, which will consist of a fresh issuance of shares alongside an Offer for Sale (OFS) from current shareholders. The price range for the IPO has been established at Rs 560 to Rs 590 per equity share, which positions the company's valuation at over Rs 77,600 crore at the highest end of the price spectrum. This IPO is anticipated to be one of the largest in the Indian healthcare industry, reflecting the growing demand for healthcare services in the country.
The subscription period for the IPO will open on Wednesday, July 29, and will conclude on Friday, July 31. Investors can expect the basis of allotment to be determined by August 3, with refunds and the crediting of shares to successful bidders scheduled for August 4. The shares are set to be listed on both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on August 5. For retail investors, the minimum bid is for 25 shares, which means an investment of Rs 14,750 at the upper limit of the price band. Market analysts have noted that the grey market premium (GMP) for the IPO was around Rs 30 per share as of July 24, indicating a potential listing price of approximately Rs 620 if market conditions remain favorable. However, it is essential for investors to remember that the GMP is not an official metric and can fluctuate significantly before the actual listing.
