Samsung Launches Pre-Orders for Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 in India

Samsung has officially commenced pre-orders for its latest smartwatch offerings, the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9, in India. These innovative devices are designed with a strong emphasis on continuous health monitoring, allowing users to transform their biometric data into actionable insights related to sleep patterns, physical activity, cardiovascular health, and recovery processes. This focus on health is a key selling point for both models, catering to a diverse range of users from fitness enthusiasts to everyday consumers seeking to enhance their well-being.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is specifically tailored for individuals who engage in outdoor activities or endurance sports. It boasts a robust design that can withstand harsh conditions, along with specialized tracking modes for various activities such as trail running and diving. A standout feature of the Ultra2 is its new Trail Run capability, which tracks elevation, climbing progress, and the impact of terrain on running performance, enabling users to better manage their pace. Additionally, the watch introduces a Nutrition Alert feature, which works in conjunction with the existing Sweat Loss function to provide hydration estimates based on individual sweat loss and body weight. The Ultra2 also offers professional diving support, featuring an IP69K rating, 10 ATM water resistance, and EN13319 certification. This allows it to automatically log crucial metrics like depth, dive duration, and water temperature when submerged. The Ultra2 Diving app, developed in collaboration with Mares and set to launch later this year, will further enhance the diving experience by offering metrics on ascent and descent speeds as well as safe dive time limits.
