The video, which was shared late Thursday night, coincided with ongoing protests led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) regarding alleged irregularities in examinations. According to reports from DD News, the selfie video post attracted an impressive 271 million views, along with 16.8 million likes and 1.5 million comments, highlighting the significant engagement from the public. In the video, Modi promised that a bill aimed at implementing stringent measures against paper leaks would be presented in Parliament the following week, emphasizing the government's commitment to tackling this pressing issue. He stated, "More strict actions against paper leaks to come in tomorrow’s Cabinet!" This proactive approach was part of his broader strategy to reassure students and their families that the government is taking decisive steps to protect their interests.

During the video, Modi acknowledged the seriousness of the paper leak issue, which has caused distress for countless students and their families. He noted that since the allegations surrounding the NEET exam leaks emerged approximately two and a half months ago, the government has taken substantial actions to address the situation. "The guilty have been caught. They are now in jail," he asserted, underscoring the government's determination to ensure that students do not suffer setbacks in their academic pursuits. He also mentioned that the government had successfully facilitated a retest for approximately 22 lakh students, ensuring that they had the opportunity to take the examination without losing a year of their education. The results of this medical entrance re-test were announced on July 19, and Modi expressed his satisfaction with the positive feedback from successful candidates across the nation.
